Just as it’s said that man is made in God’s image so AI will be (and has been) made in ours. AI technology (I believe) is just another example of us emulating creation or the Creator. And as it is a reflection of our own potential it will be as flawed as those that create and control it. If their tendencies are selfish, mutually or self-destructing, self-aggrandizing, AI will be a reflection of this, an amplification of it actually. An amplification of man’s Ego.
And so just like every great tool man has ever created it will either help humanity’s advancement exponentially or be used to destroy us… so the answer (for me) remains the same, I must continue to work to be the best version of me and help others to do the same so that tools like AI will ultimately only be used for our benefit.
And by the way, it’s been said that AI now will be smarter than a human being in the next year or two, and predicted that it will be smarter than ALL human beings, smarter than ALL of us, in the next five years. It’s here my friends, it’s here.
